About the position

A Remote Reservation Specialist at Lucky & Lady® is responsible for interacting with clients; booking reservations; updating records and data; accepting payments; and editing reservations for pets currently in our care. As our client’s potential first point of contact, you set the stage and help create our client’s first impression. Must have impeccable customer service and problem solving skills, plus be able to handle multiple projects and clients simultaneously with a polite and cheerful demeanor and without background noise or distractions.

This position requires an extremely organized person who is able to interact with clients on a variety of mediums, including text messaging, web chats, email, telephone, and through leads generated on platforms like Facebook and Yelp. Required hardware includes a mobile phone, a PC or Mac computer, and a solid internet connection with WiFi capability. As with all of our team members, remarkable trust and reliability are required.

Previous experience in a veterinary or boarding facility is preferred but we will train the right people. Expect to be onsite for two weeks before beginning remote work. Some onsite attendance may be required as needed for additional training or company meetings.

 

Technology requirements

  • A web-enabled computer and Google Chrome browser
  • A reliable internet gateway (connection) able to accommodate traffic over a secure connection (SSL)
  • An iPhone or Android mobile phone with the ability to download/utilize our business applications (apps)

Required qualifications

  • Must regard safety and security as the absolute highest priority
  • Must have excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Must possess a smart mobile phone capable of downloading mobile apps and a PC or Mac computer
  • Must have a reliable internet connection with WiFi capability
  • Must be eligible for employment in the U.S.
  • Must simply love pets


Preferred qualifications

  • Working knowledge and experience using Gingr, our cloud-based software
  • Experience using pet or salon booking software
  • Previous retail/sales experience

 

Lucky & Lady® team members are required to wear and maintain a clean uniform, some of which is provided. Employment is evaluated within 60 to 90 days and qualified employees are eligible for salary increases and position elevations based upon performance, in addition to other incentives throughout employment. Lucky & Lady® is staffed 24/7/365. Team members are generally provided regular shifts but flexibility to work different shifts is required.
